Is FixWell really free?: Yes — FixWell is completely free for homeowners. There are no fees, no subscriptions, and no markups on the contractor’s price. You pay the contractor directly, just like you normally would.
What areas do you serve?: We're currently serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Arlington, Plano, Frisco, Irving, and surrounding cities. We plan to expand to more metro areas soon.
What types of home issues can you help with?: Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, roofing, general handyman work — if it’s a home issue, text us. Even if you’re not sure what’s wrong, we’ll help you figure it out.
How do you choose contractors?: We look at licensing, insurance, customer reviews, and availability. We also compare pricing expectations and only recommend contractors that are responsive, reliable, and fairly priced. We only suggest options we’d feel comfortable using ourselves.
Do I have to accept the contractor you recommend?: Not at all. If you're not comfortable, just let us know and we'll find another option. You're always in control.
